Description
We seek a dynamic and driven Account Executive at InnQuest Software - APAC to lead new business development efforts in Australia, focusing on expanding our client base across the hospitality sector!
The successful candidate will be based in Adelaide or Melbourne, and you will identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities by working with hotels and hospitality businesses to adopt our industry-leading SaaS solutions. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our growth trajectory while developing strong relationships with key players in the hospitality market.
Here is a little window into our company: Our software was developed by hoteliers for hoteliers and has been widely praised for its intuitive performance and ease of use. roomMaster provides every software management product a hotel needs in one simple turnkey solution, including a booking engine with a channel manager linked to Expedia and Booking.com. InnQuest’s office is in Tampa, Florida, with international offices in Australia, Canada, and the UK and resellers in the Caribbean, Fiji, New Zealand, Cambodia, Malaysia, and South Africa.
InnQuest Software was acquired by Valsoft and now operates under the Aspire Software portfolio. Aspire Software, the operational arm of Valsoft Corp, operates and manages Valsoft’s global portfolio of wholly owned software companies, providing mission-critical solutions across multiple verticals. By implementing industry best practices, Aspire delivers a time-sensitive integration process, and the operation of a decentralized model has allowed it to become a hub for creating rapid growth by reinvesting in its portfolio.
The successful candidate will be based anywhere within commutable distance of our office in Melbourne, working in a hybrid work model!
What your day will look like:
- Sales Development: Identify and engage with potential clients, leveraging leads from various channels, including referrals, partnerships, and inbound inquiries
- Client Consultation: Understand the unique needs of prospective clients and present tailored solutions from InnQuest's product suite
- Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring consistent progress toward quarterly and annual revenue goals
- Market Outreach: Collaborate with industry partners to drive awareness of InnQuest solutions
- Negotiation and Closing: Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to secure new business
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, support, and product teams to ensure seamless onboarding and exceptional client experiences
- Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and inform product development
About You:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar related discipline is highly preferred but not essential
- A proven track record in direct sales experience within SaaS technology sales, Software sales, business development, or account management, ideally within the hospitality or technology sector
- Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to articulate complex solutions in a clear and compelling manner
- Must exhibit a hunter mentality, a professional demeanor, and a high sense of urgency
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency with CRM software, e.g. Salesforce, and familiarity with property management systems is a plus
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment
- Good knowledge of the hospitality space and goals of an independent hotelier
- Experience in the hospitality industry or with hotel management software is highly advantageous
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- A proven ability to drive results, be resilient during challenging sales situations, have a customer-first mentality and a strong growth mindset
- Legally authorised to work in Australia
